Classic K'NexJan 26, 2012
By The Sleeve This K'Nex set comes exactly how it is described. It is all classic K'Nex with out any of the "micro" or over sized pieces. I bought them to add to K'Nex I already have and continue to build my collection. I would like to note that a large portion of the "30 models" you can build are 2D flat objects. However, a few of the 3D objects they provide instructions for are actually quite interesting. Also, it comes with more of the small pieces than the large; so if you are buying this set to construct something large you will need a few sets or at least make sure you already have almost all the pieces you need.
Overall the product is exactly as described. I am definitely not disappointed in any way.

Excellent Creativity CultivatorApr 05, 2012
By The Man I bought this toy for my 5.5 year old son. Instructions came with 2 and 3 dimensions buildup manual. We started off with building 2 dimensions structures and now to 3. Required some assistance in the initial stage but now he is flying. Handling small parts trains his agility and patience and following the instruction manual teaches him to focus.
Instruction steps could be a little bit more spaced out (ie more steps rather than squeezing construction into 2 picture slots).
Overall excellent.
Got my 11 year old son off the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!Dec 09, 2011
By angelicayates I gave one of the 3 Kinex sets I had purchased for Christmas to my son after he received a perfect report card.... as a gift. I thought carefully about the decision because I already have all of my shopping done for Christmas...I chose the Kinex in hopes that it would spark his imagination & I was pleasantly pleased! He played with it all night and is asking everyone to give him more for Christmas so he can build bigger things!
