 Great addition to Lego amusement park!Dec 10, 2010

If you can't tell from the pic, this is a working Ferris wheel that seats about 8 Lego minifigures in all. Yes, it turns fine filled up w/ our Lego's! It was relatively easy to set up and take down. It was a little time-consuming to set up, but for us that is the fun. This is much better for older kids, since the sticks require a gentle but firm hand for construction. Once it was put together, it didn't disappoint in durability for normal play.
The Ferris wheel gives our Lego town a more interesting look, building it up for a fraction of the cost (I believe that we bought this for around $10 at local store this past summer-good value!). I noticed that this has gone up now, but hey-it's the Christmas holiday season...

This ferris wheel was a lot of fun for my 6-year-old and I to build, though it did require me to use quite a firm hand on several of the connections as he wasn't quite strong enough to make some of the linkages without breaking other pieces. My only complaint would be that though there are many tiny pieces that are essential to build this kit, there are absolutely NO extra pieces given in case you lose one. We dropped one piece on the floor, and the dog managed to get it in the five seconds it took us to get to it. A tiny piece of it snapped off before he dropped it, ruining the entire piece. Now we have to tape that connection in place on the ferris wheel. No matter the age, accidents happen- include just a few extras!

It took my 9 year old nephew and 10 year old niece 3 hours or so to put together without any help. this was great as the kids are very active.They loved it. At the end they needed a little assistance with the battery and the wheel did not go all the way around. My nephew had some knex toys and I simple connected the 2 wheels together and it went around. I am not very mechanical. I will buy the rest of knex rollercoadters most likely. thank you!

Great with Lego figures/ challenging to assembleJan 18, 2011

My 9 year old was able to put this together in about an hour- with close supervision from an adult. It does require following the instructions step by step. He loves it and filled it with people immediately. He uses it as part of a Lego city display and plays with it regularly.

Didn't take long to put together despite the fact this ferris wheel has 475 pieces! My son, he's 6, helped me put it together. His friends and cousins love to watch it and play with it! Great product!
