Like all good toys with lights and sounds, there is a switch which turns off the wheel-activated sounds. The horn stays active. Glad I went with this instead of the full-on 1/16 metal version of a tractor. It's not overly 'baby', but a much heavier metal toy probably would not have worked out as well.

I purchased this for my son's first birthday. Being from a farm family, my son has started to develope a love for tractors and this is right up his alley! It is a good size, coming up to just below my son's knees, so he can walk behind it and push it along. It is durable, yet light perfect for a toddler or young boy (or girl that loves tractors:). I love the tractor noises it makes when pushed forward and the beeping it makes when pushed backwards. The lights light up and blink. I am so pleased with this tractor, I have bought another one as a gift for my best friend's two year old son who is also a tractor lover!

I purchased this tractor for my 3 year old grandson that loves tractors & it has quickly become his favorite toy. It is holding up very good with a 3 year old at the wheel.

We purchased this tractor for our son in November 2009, as a big brother gift, he was 18 months old at the time and loved it! He will now be 4 in May and STILL loves this tractor - he calls it "tractor beep" and drives it everywhere around the house! I highly recommend this for any tractor loving kids -- our daughter, 2 and youngest son, 1 also love it too!
