I'm 66 and bought this for my great grandson age 5. I played with one of them to see what they would do, I had fun. Great gift, just make sure the kids and animal don't put in mouth.

I bought this as a gift for my brother, sisters, and cousin. I opened one bug and it happily danced around the table, then on the floor. It was so funny! I can wait to open all five of them and have them run around together. :)

My 6 year old LOVES nanos and these were no exception. However, the first one he opened had a dead battery. The batteries are almost as expensive as the bugs, so not a pleasant thing to explain to him. Then within 3 days all the others needed to be replaced. Buzz kill.

We love the Hex bug and recently purchased a Hexbug habitat for a present. However, this toy is easily lost and will run out of batteries if left on (which usually happens, when it is lost under the couch).

My grandson and I were looking through Amazon for birthday gift for his upcoming 10th birthday and he spied the hexbug habitats and wanted one for his hexbugs. He was so excited to see this habitat. It was just what he wanted. He immediately put all the pieces together and started playing with the hexbug included (however, not before he grabbed the bubble wrap and started popping). I really like the fact that it folds up and locks so all the pieces are inside, not to be scattered about the house. Kids really like these hexbugs. Now for Easter I will probably buy some extensions for it.
