stick with old versionJul 02, 2010
By sarabb this new stand up version of guess who is lousy. assembling is difficult, pieces keep falling out. it is inconvenient to use the way the two boards are connected. the photos are too small to distinguish characteristics. The old flat one is much better. I was hoping to replace my beat up all set with the new one, but I am throwing this one OUT!!!

A GREAT REMAKE OF THE OLD CLASSIC!! A+++Nov 06, 2010
By North Pole Elf GUESS WHO is a remake of the classic original, which has been a staple game in most homes for years. The big differerence with the new version is that it does not have individual character cards, each character is behind game doors. Assembly took 2 minutes, literally, it was very simple and totally easy, you just have to refer to the direction sheet. It was fun to play, and a neat and tidy clean up without all the cards. I would highly recommend this version to every age group. Our high school age daughter commented that in two different language classes, the teachers used this particular game (regular version) to help the teens learn "characteristics" of people while playing. The teacher had them play by having the students use a new language to describe characteristics- for example, the kids used it to describe brown eyes or blonde hair in a foreigh language, and had fun as teens in a classroom setting. I found it fun as an adult, and I especially liked how it easily was put away into the box. Fun for any age, buy it!! A GREAT GAME, well done in its newest version!

Good classic kids gameDec 18, 2010
By Phiiya My kids love this game. There is not usually any fighting over this one like some of the others that we have, monopoly is a dreaded game at my house. The kids will play Geuss Who? a lot. I have given this game to other children as birthday and Christmas gifts and it is well recieved. Plus it's cool my kids will play a game that doesnt connect to a screen!

OK - but needs improvementFeb 06, 2011

This is ok. It's easier to set up than the older version - however, it does have some serious flaws. First, it only comes with two cards - one for each player. Although it gives you the option to "download and print" your own - I find that to be a cheap copout for a game normally in the $15-$20 range. They should have included more cards. Also, the cards don't line up quite right when flipped to animals and it's hard to see the names. The other problem we have is that the doors close too easily. If you bump them, you are probably go to lose or have to start over b/c they will close on you.
They can be put together and stand upright across from each other - somewhat like battleship - but we usually do not do that.

it only comes with 2 sheets to use. It's really cheap and my kids were bored with it within minutes. It's like something out of a happy meal.
