 best game,my top 3 favorites!!May 24, 2010
I use to love the game taboo but now that i have found catch phrase i never choose to play taboo. They are basically the same game but you dont have any words you can say. You are allowed to say anything to get the other player to guess as well as use hand guestures but you can not say any party of the word. Its super fun & i love that it is all electronic so its super easy to take places. I even saw a keychain version at target the other day but i think the full size is the perfect size to be small enough to take around but still read the screen easily. All of my aunts who i had to beg to play ended up loving it & didnt want to quit.

Not only does this game teach you TONS of information about a plethora of subjects, it is also a great deal of fun. We have friends over often and this game is ALWAYS requested by our guests. We usually split up on teams--guys against girls and we have a BLAST! Of course, the ladies ALWAYS win! :-) If you enjoy Taboo this is exactly like that game but electronic and portable. You will NOT be sorry that you purchased this device!

I have owned this product for YEARS, ever since it was just cards and a timer, way before this cool electronic version! Well, not only has it been played at just about EVERY family get together, holiday, or just a gathering, it has now been bought by every family member and friend! That way, no matter who's house we are at, we always can get a game or two of catch phrase! Great fun for old and young a like. Can get very loud and rambunctious! Great fun and highly recommended!

Great for long trips and fun in the car, home or anywhere. Makes for a fun drinking game too. Everyone loves to play, and people not playing tend to get involved too.

We love this game. The play reminded us of the old TV game show, Password. The play is fast moving, owning to the uncertainty of the time allowed before the buzzer. It sharpens your verbal skills and draws upon your social judgment because in formulating your clues, you must either use what you know about your partner or about the popular culture.
