 Great Early Erector Set!Apr 15, 2011

This is a great introduction to erector sets. I think this and the other 5 sets in the series have a high educational value since it helps kids get interested in building working machines. Start them out with this and gradually transition to the more complex ones and who knows, maybe they'll get into the Goldberg machines eventually!

Purchased for my grandson's 5th birthday. My husband had to put it together for the kid. It needed strong hands and mature coordination to hold all the pieces together before screwing the plastic bolt in which holds it together.
the kid likes playing with it, but we encouraged him not to take it back apart. It wasn't easy to assemble at all.
