A Good Selection for Kids Who Like to BuildMay 28, 2007

Although he likes being able to build things and make motorized models with this kit, my 12yo son says he wishes this kit were more challenging. So far, he has made the dragster and motorcycle. He says he would recommend this kit to other kids.

this is a great purchase, got it as a gift for 12 yr old cousin. He loves it. He builds with it everyday, a good mind challenge toy.

My 12 year old nephew aspires to be an Engineer. I'm told by his G-Mom that he's been gone through many of the configurations and is enjoying the challenges. Great set in my opinion!

Lots of fun! We made the helicopter.. it's a great toy, the only concern i have is that when you turn on the motor when you have the helicopter, it moves ridiculously fast so it could potentially injury someone.
Other than that, love it!

The parts are good quality and the instructional sketches are accurate.
This is great for adult-child activity. If you give a few guidelines, and be there as the Technical Support and as a Quality Control person, the child will improve manual dexterity, mental acuity, and discipline in keeping the project and its inventory organized.
