The picture and description looked and sounded better than the actual product. It works fine and looks ok, but is certainly cheap in construction up close. Spend your money on something more durable. It looks and feels like it was made out of pressed cardboard with a vinyl coating.

Makes a great gift to give and receive. The picture is pretty accurate, looks even bigger when it arrives.

I read the other reviews before I rated this jewelry box and foothillsguy seemed to be expecting a solid wood box for $20.00. It's a toy any little girl would love it's made from light wood and does have a sticker type outer print (not handpainted or anything) like I said for $20.00 it's worked out just fine. The idea is the child loves it not us :-) I would recommend to anyone who has a little girl. Have a great day :-)

My husband and I have been looking for a jewlery box for our 8 year old daughter. Found this one and really liked how unusual it was, so ordered it for Christmas. Unfortunatly, several of the drawer stops were broken off, and all the drawers tilted out if the box was moved in the slightest. That would equal little girl earrings lost or all over the carpet. Sending it back.
