New RCJun 23, 2011
By Ryan Stabell I have been into hobby-grade rc vehicles for about a year and this is actually my first electric rc I usually run nitros. However this rc is one of the best I have ever run not as fast as my nitro's but it is still stock. I have already bought another more powerful battery for it and a speed charger because 5 hours is too long to wait for a charge. Very durable I can hit curb after curb after curb and just a couple of scratches in the thick plastic. However it is not water proof do not try it. But the parts are extremely well made the hobby shop that I bought it from said that a guy who bought one there put a 100 dollar Lithium-Polymer battery, very powerful very long lasting for those of you who don't know, and didn't blow the stock engine or transmission. It is priced nicely and will stand up to most any beating you give it. Also while running it into your leg isn't recommended other cars will hurt a lot more I didn't even bruise from this one. If you are looking for an affordable, durable, quick, and all around fun to drive rc I'd give this Circuit a second look.

Great entry level hobby grade RCSep 20, 2011
By Jeffrey We bought two of these for our two boys after taking them to an indoor RC race track. They wanted one right then, but we did some homework first. These are the least expensive true hobby grade RC trucks we found. For those that do not know, hobby grade means they are not just toys that you throw away when something breaks, they have replaceable and upgradeable parts. I just ordered upgraded (12 turn) motors and better battery packs to make them faster, now that the boys have learned how to drive them well. We have had only a couple minor broken steering components after many many big jumps, and the replacement parts are readily available and very inexpensive. From what I have read about this truck, the chassis is very similar to a Traxxis and many of the higher end parts are interchangeable. For example, if you change the hex drive hubs and drive pins to the Traxxis brand, you can use any Traxxis wheel and not be stuck with the one wheel/tire offering from Electrix. These trucks have been great so far, the boys love them, and I see no chance of them growing bored with them since I can upgrade them to suit their increasing skill levels. Great RC for the price, great for younger kids new to the hobby. If you want lightning fast right out of the box, this isn't it. If you want inexpensive, upgradable fun, look no further.

By Air this is a cheap hobby level car that is great for the money. you will want another battery and a better charger however.
Almost too much fun....Jan 30, 2012
By Riis My sons are just getting into R/C's and we thought this would be a good starter. They had a ball with them. I say this product is somewhat educational because you can upgrade this car and customize it a bit and that gives kids some insight into how the product works and what makes it go, or more importantly, go faster! I only gave a three on the durability because one of my kids crashed his into a pole and the frame broke in half. That is not good. But they have crashed them into cars and they have fallen off of curbs and hit trees and made it through, so they aren't very fragile either. All in all, a good product for what we bought them for.
