I saw this toy at a store I had got my son's crib at before he was born and thought it would be a neat toy for him to have. After I had a review on here I was hesitant on getting the toy for him for Christmas, as the mom had said the toy made her child bawl and she had to hide. My case was the ABSOLUTE opposite! My son loves hearing the noise and watching the lights of the toy. He plays with it every day! He hasn't started to crawl yet so he hasn't crawled after it but he loves sitting up and playing with each end. It was worth my money.

The lights in this gave me a headache. I turned them off and gave it to my daughter who freaked out when I rolled it across the room. I think it is the sounds of the beads that she is scared of. I had to actually hide it in the closet before she would stop crying. Maybe some kids might like this, just not mine. I have never seen her afraid of a toy before this.
