High-energy game loved by kids of all ages! Simple, out-of-the-box fun -- just turn it on and go. Encourages listening, problem solving and friendly competition Kids play alone or with friends -- giggling guaranteed Thousands of game variations, so kids never tire of the funRequires 3 "AA" batteries (not included) Cranium Hullabaloo is the surprise-filled, high-energy game that turns bouncing off the walls into bouncing across the room! Players move from one colourful shape to another and use their bodies to perform the many Hullabaloo moves -- touch your nose to a circle, spin to a red, put your elbow on a musical instrument. When Hullabaloo says, "Freeze!" the player on the lucky pad wins! Every few minutes there's a new winner who gets to take a bow, make a victory jump or do a funky monkey dance. Faster than a scavenger hunt, more creative than Simon Says and able to make imaginative leaps past musical chairs, Hullabaloo provides hours of fun for any occasion -- birthday parties, play dates, even a rainy day. Ready to play? Ages: 4 & Up

2Very disappointing.May 30, 2010
As a big fan of the regular grown-up version of Cranium, I was very excited to introduce this to my housemate's kids. Unfortunately, it was not to be.

The problem with the audio isn't that the volume is too low, but that the sound is poor quality and difficult to decipher unless the kids are completely quiet, which obviously is not going to happen amid cries of "I was here first!" and "No, no, you're doing the wrong thing!"

The fast pace is supposed to keep children from getting hung up on losing, but this doesn't work for highly competitive kids. A four year old would get so upset over losing a round, that he wouldn't hear the instructions for the next round, scramble around, and lose that one too.

The pads that go on the ground tend to curl up at the edges, which just gets worse when they're stepped on, and they move around a lot.

In all honesty, if you have well-behaved kids who have no trouble cooperating and enjoy listening to directions, Hullabaloo is probably great, but rowdier kids aren't likely to take to it, at least from my own experience.

3Do NOT buy from 4Sale!!! Takes your money!Mar 15, 2010
Well I am having to file a claim to get my money back or my package shipped, as the seller does not respond to any messages. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy this from the seller "4Sale". I do not think they are legitimate! Save yourself a lot of trouble. Hope this helps someone else to not get ripped off like I did.

4Good indoor toy for physical activityFeb 07, 2010
I have a 8 yr old and 6 yr old who play with this toy. I am sure if I had bought it a few years ago it would have some educational value for them as well. Good for giving them some physical activity indoors this winter.

5Great game with lots of movement!Jan 06, 2010
Santa gave this to my 4 & 2 year olds for Christmas this year & they love it! My 4yr old has even played it a couple times on her own & she still had fun playing by herself.

I really like it since there is very little set-up & no small parts to lose. All you have to do is spread the colored pads out on the floor, turn the game on & have the kids follow the directions moving from pad to pad. It was especially funny to see their dad crawling & spinning from pad to pad.

If you have kids that have energy to spare, this is the game for you!

4A Brief, Active, and Wholesome Game for Young OnesJan 03, 2010
This is a simple game, well executed. Essentially, it's a combination of Twister and Bingo -- asking young kids to identify shapes and colors and MOVE MOVE MOVE! Similar and complexity to Candy Land, so its appropriate for really little kids.

The electronic component of this set keeps my kids interested (since it's more exciting than a game board) and the other pieces (that you step on!) are durable and well made.

Cleans up easily and fits nicely back in the box. A bonus for parents!
