|CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.|
100 piece assorted "hot" colors in Skyline box: red, orange, yellow, pink, and Natural Citiblocs are high quality wooden construction blocks which inspire both traditional building and modern design. The secret behind Citblocs is that every piece is exactly the same shape and size. Each block is precisely cut from Grade A Radiata Pine from certified renewable forests in New Zealand. Citiblocs building requires no glue, no snaps, no connectors and no magnets: just gravity, balance and imagination. Building with Citiblocs is simple: stack one block on top of another. Their specific size and shape and weight allows building that is simply not possible with other building toys. Build a small cabin by the lake or a tower that reaches the stars. Citiblocs are recommended for ages 3+. Citiblocs are certified safe and non-toxic and have been tested and approved according to all Consumer Product Safely Improvement Act (CPSIA) regulations.

Great blocks and a nice starter size.Dec 24, 2010
By S. Mulkey
These blocks are really nice. The colors are great and it comes with a booklet to give you ideas for building. I had thought about getting a larger set, but this is plenty for my son at his age (he just turned five).

Wow! Fun!Dec 31, 2011
I bought this for my 2-year-old daughter after seeing Citiblocs chosen as a "Toy of the Year" by a writer on Slate.com.
My first impression was one of disappointment. The blocks are actually very thin, maybe 1/4 inch at most, and long. They seemed very insubstantial, more like balsa wood than pine.
However, I quickly began to enjoy using them with my daughter. They can be stacked and balanced in ways that other blocks cannot, and some very fun structures await you. I now look forward to when my daughter requests we use them!
As for age appropriateness, I think they are better suited for a 4 or 5+ year old child, at least for independent play. My 2-year-old can't do much with them except for line them up and make what she calls a blanket! I'm sure she will grow into them quickly, and learn to have her own fun.

Amazed by how loved these blocks areApr 11, 2013
My boys love the idea book that comes with these blocks and cannot stop building from the book and from their imaginations. I bought them two 100-piece sets and it's not enough! I even find myself drawn to the blocks. The blocks are smaller than I expected (less than 1 inch X 4-5/8 inch). The colors are pure and bright yet do not bleed at all. My children traded their extensive megaBlok collection for these wooden blocks and believe they got a great deal. The Legos haven't even seen much play since these blocks arrived. I will be buying more in other colors.

Great bright colours, all the family and friends like to play. Good quality materials, wonderful to see some all the children want to play with.
Son with Autism LOVES these blocks!Jan 30, 2014
By Robert E. Sullivan
My son has autism and it's always a challenge to find toys that he'll enjoy. He LOVES these -- partly because there's so many of them, and partly because they are simple items he can use to make his big patterns on the carpet. He basically makes temporary art in big designs on the carpet, and these are perfect because of the good quality, the bright colors, and the sheer quantity of them! Highly recommended!!!
