Just turned two year old not ready but it is niceJan 12, 2011

Thought that my son would love this for his second birthday. He is a bigger boy for his age but has a hard time reaching to the end to turn it while holding it to his face. If we help him, he enjoys it for less than a minute. He dropped it once and the tin dented but doesn't interfere with its viewing. I am sure that he'll love it in a little while.

Got this as a stocking stuffer for my 2.5 yr old. He really enjoys playing with it. My husband was very impressed with the quality and the bead selection inside of it, there's this "s" shaped bead that really makes for some unique results. My son really loves curious george and was really happy play with this toy. Overall a really great toy.

My son loves curious George and he loves this tin kaleidoscope. He uses it in pretend pirate play quite often. It is fairly durable, but it can get squished if it is accidentally stepped on by invading pirates. The kaleidoscope itself is very colorful and of a nice size. It is beautiful to look at when you use it. It's a great purchase.

Lots of fun...I had one when I was a child eons ago and these are still fun. The "just turned 4 year old" really enjoys it. I would not hesitate to purchase this.

I ordered this because I am a sucker for a good Curious George toy. This kaleidoscope has great colors and the little shapes inside are unusual and really suggest the feel of this precocious monkey's stories. The movement is smooth and it seems very well made. All-in-all: a terrific price for a really fun toy.
