This outdoor chalk set is good for outdoor fun, and since I am in FL, that is year-round! Love the 3D glasses - they work with any chalk, but they work even better with the more bold 3D chalk colors. This set is a good value, esp. with 2 pairs of glasses; makes it more fun for siblings or parents to use with their kids.

First of all, I'm always very skeptical when it comes to anything "3-D". Especially when it comes to things like chalk or coloring. Well, this works. I think the adults had more fun with it than the kids. The colors were great, and the glasses worked for every thing. I actually walked around and put them on to look at other stuff.
Obviously, chalk isn't very durable, and with little kids, it didn't last long, but I fully plan on buying refills when it gets warmer.

The kids (and I) enjoyed playing with the 3-D chalk, glasses, and stencils the first we brought them out. The 3-D effect does work and you can definitely see the depth and dimensions through the glasses. But there was no long lasting fun effect. After the first time, the chalk became regular sidewallk chalk that the kids like to use. No one ever asked for the 3-D chalk in particular. So I'll continue to purchase sidewalk chalk, but no more 3-D stuff.

When our package arrived the box was intact, but both the toy and the cookbook were in terrible shape. In the past our orders from Amazon have always been great very caring and professional, what happened?? I know they will exchange them, but ours were for gifts and there was no time to exchange. Why don't they take more time and care and get it right the first time??
