My son loves ChuggingtonFeb 03, 2011

The sign that supports the curve does not stay in place. The incline is not sufficient for the Chuggington vehicles to roll down unassisted. It wasn't until I replaced the batteries for the first time that I discovered that the repair platform and the Chug-wash had sound effects. If the Chug-Wash is not perfectly plugged in place with the other part, it doesn't work. Still, my son loves Chuggington and likes playing with this toy. Despite the curve support problem it's otherwise fairly well made.

A lot of fun, need some extra trackMar 13, 2011

My son loves Chuggington and this toy. It would be nice if it had some extra track to add to it instead of having to buy it separately. The curve support will not stay on. It isn't really needed for one car going down, but it is poor design and falls right off. I think I might have to glue it in pace.

By meredith As I type this my son is completely enthralled with his new toy from Santa. My son is 3 and LOVES chuggington with a passion, the only chugger we are missing is Irving, so all of them have been through the chug wash so far today and fit well. Emery and Hoot'n Toot seem a little long for this toy but they do work. As for the hill issue mentioned, as long as your kid understands that the support has to stay where it goes, you should be fine. If yours is really warped, return it, I have had to return the round house b/c of the track being warped and they took it back without an issue. Just use fresh batteries and make sure you fallow the directions to hook it up.
I cant say this toy is educational in the traditional sense, but it can help teach taking tuns since only one train can do things at a time. I also see this helping with bath time, i.e. your chuggers got cleaned up now you need too to. Get creative with it! The whole Chuggington set can be useful for teaching life skills, colors, and patients.

By Bjkopelman My grandson loves trains. Chuggington trains provide him with so much fun, and promotes imaginative play. Best of all, they are sturdy for the playful antics of a 3 year old.
