This is a very cute little tea set. My daughters (and sons) enjoy it a lot. They have a lot of beanie babies and other dolls, so they will set them up and feed them play food on these dishes. The only problem is there are only 4 place settings, so we really need more of these sets for our crowd of hungry stuffed animals! I think the set will hold up very well too.

We love this set. Its nice to have an alternative to plastic play things. The tea cups are tiny but perfect for my two year old. She serves Mommy, Daddy and the dog many cups of tea! She loves "pouring" the tea from the tea pot! It looks adorable in her wooden kitchen. I thought that I would also share a positive experience regarding the Schylling company customer service. She lost a tea cup to her tea set. I know she probably doesn't care but I figured I would try to replace it. Saturday I found the company website, E-mailed customer service and decided she probably would have to deal with tea for 3 instead of 4. I got a reply this am...they are sending a replacement. Exciting...but even better, they say they keep replacements on hand for this kind of situation, they provide the replacements for free. No shipping costs, no replacement fee. No hoops to jump thru. Just FREE. They are mailing it today. Since good customer service seems to be more and more rare in this world I thought that I would share! I know its just a tiny tea cup but.... tiny things make a big difference some times! So in short great tea set from a great company!

The set is adorable and durable. My daughter is almost three and she adores it. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is becuase I thought it was going to be bigger than it was. It was too small for my hand to hold comfortably, but seems perfect for my daughter. Also, when I wash it out, I have to dry it because putting it upside down doesn't work.

My two-year-old discovered this tea set in the kid's play room at the Manzanar National Historic Site. It was some kind of primal toddler thing: she immediately knew exactly what to do with it.
We purchased a set and have gotten a lot of use. Almost everyday we are treated to tea, coffee or cocoa. The dishes are perfect for luncheon -- my personal favorite is alphabet sandwiches.
They are tin -- so they bend if stepped on. But that's better than breaking into a lot of little pieces. The paint has not started flaking off after 9 months of daily use. A definite buy -- an excellent value for the money.
