Mixed feelingsMay 14, 2007

The biggest complaint I have about this product, for me, is that my child is only 20 months and I am trying to teach him numbers and words, in English, which is our first and native language. Unfortunately, because both language buttons are so big and pronounced, he keeps hitting the Spanish button and half the time the toy is speaking in Spanish. I wish the buttons were smaller and underneath the toy (like the sound button), so the parents could decide which language their child is hearing. If I had known the toy would be this way, I would not have purchased it. It's apparent when you first look at it, but when you actually bring it home and your child starts playing with it, you see that unless you want to teach your child to be bilingual at infancy, it's not that helpful.

Just okayJan 10, 2009

My boys liked this okay, it is loud and clear and speaks both Spanish and English. They find the Spanish highly amusing for some reason (they are two and three). If you are looking for a fun phone for your child I'd recommend giving them an old cell phone or an imitation cell phone (Disney makes them) because I know with my kids they seem to always prefer to play with the real thing or something close to it.

Love this little phone! Everything from the "true spanish" accent in spanish mode, to the sounds and music. Just wish it had more choises for the phrases.

Nice toyMay 10, 2007
By Christine Bissinger This is a nice toy, and my 2-yr olds love it, but the voice is simply creepy.
