I have 2 little girls, ages 7 and 9, who adore all things Calico Critters. They spend countless hours together creating their universe and getting lost in their stories. Having a quality product that doesn't have the story laid out for them allows them to really dig into their imagination. Things do get lost occasionally because of their size, but we've never had anything break.

I bought these for my 3 1/2 year old for christmas. She already has a couple of sets of babies from the calico critters, and the babies are definitely her favorites. These are a great quality product, and these were absolutely adorable. I can't wait to give them to her for christmas!

I purchased these adorable little critters for my granddaughter, who is not yet 2, thinking they were a bit larger then they actually turned out to be. They are completely adorable and cute, and I will save them for when she is a little older, because they are just the kind of little toy little girls love, but they are too small for a very young child. I'm glad I bought them, but I simply missed that they were such a tiny size. They would be wonderful for playing with in a critter type doll house. In fact, I am considering making such a doll house for my granddaughter, while waiting for her to be a bit older. By the time I have it done and ready, she will be old enough to enjoy it. I'm pleased with my purchase, just didn't realize a crucial factoid that only is important because my granddaughter is so young. That will cure itself soon enough!!

Cute little hedgehogs with diapers and long soft hair, my kids are having fun with them. Unfortunately all the houses and cars that go with them are pricey.

These little hedgehog twins are really cute additions to any Calico Critters collection. They have super soft hedgehog hair (not really realistic but prickly spines wouldn't sell many critters).
They are sweet and mildly poseable because their heads move. But they are a cute set especially for little girls, like my daughter, who love the baby sets in Calico Critters.
I would not recommend taking their clothes off since it is almost impossible to retie them back on.
