Calico Critters are such a sweet way to have pretend play. Our six-year old daughter just discovered them and she loves them! We're trying to start a collection but they are expensive! I'm not sure why, because they're just hard plastic covered with fake fur covering and are made in China! But they are durable and fun! In Europe they go by the name Sylvanian Families and have been so popular for years. I hope we start to see more of the products they offer over here in the U.S. because they have a whole village with post office, sweet shop, bakery, restaurants, etc. I love these critters too and have just as much fun playing with her as she does with mommy!

I purchased the Cozy Cottage for our 3 yr old for Christmas. She LOVES it! I also purchased this playset to go along with it, mainly because it includes two tiny critters for a reasonable price. I am SO glad I did. She just loves the little critters to go with the "mommy rabbit" that comes with the cottage. I also ordered the bunkbed so these little critters would have a place to sleep (this is important to a 3 yr old).

This is a great toy for children in the 2 to 7 year old age group. The figures are well made and colorful and the swing is perfect for play.

The swing is great, and the two little critters it comes with are adorable (a baby bear and baby hamster). My daughter's absolute favorite part of this set is the little duck car. She loves putting critter babies in that little duck car. Go figure!
