The quality of these pieces is excellent with attention to detail that gives them
a realistic look. My granddaughters have hours of fun playing with the Calico Critters minitures.

We purchased this and three other Calico Critters products for our 3 year old daughter. The attention to detail is amazing. The "cuteness" factor is off the charts. The quality of the product is way above average. Our daughter loves her Calico Critters and the furniture pieces as well. The only complaint I have is that many of the "detail" pieces (i.e. knives, plates, cups, etc.) are so tiny that they are somewhat difficult to play with, can easily be lost and, most importantly, easily swallowed. The Calico Critters et al are a bit pricey but the high prices are more than matched by the quality.

As with most Calico Critter things, some of the very small items are just not necessary to include. Over all, it provides lots of fun for the kids. It's just that some of those little items go into the trash before being used, as I know they are gonna end up in the vac any way.
