In the 80's there was a group of toys made by the same manuf called "Sylvanian Families." These are supposed to be the same thing - they are just too cute! I bought them for my 3 yr old and she won't put them down. A bit on the expensive side, but well worth the money. We've named our family and my husband is talking about building her a dollhouse for them.

I purchased this toy for my daughter for her forth birthday, thinking that these dolls would encourage her to play with her doll house more (the human dolls just didn't cut it). Success! She loves cats, and these personified dolls really struck a chord with her. They are just the right size to fit in a small-ish standard doll house, and they are easy for a four-year-old to dress and undress...apparently very important for four-year old girls (at least this one).
I'll admit that I was hesitant at first to spend this much money on this product, but in the end, I'm glad I did. My daughter spends many hours per week playing with these dolls, and often engages her older sister to join in. They're cute, and they're tactilely interesting; a good toy for creative children with active imaginations.

We brought this cat family for my daughter for Christmas to go with a doll house that she also received. She is 4 years old and just loves to play with this family ... even more so than the "people" family she got as well. The dolls have movable arms and legs, which is great for sitting in chairs, sleeping, playing ... all the fun things they do in the doll house. I would definitely recommend these for any animal lover.

These are perfect dollhouse dolls for little girls who don't like dolls. My daughter will barely touch dolls, but she's very much into animals. These are perfect! They are easy to pose, durable, and each family comes with their own names and a little back-story. The clothing is easy for my daughter (4) to remove and put back on. What a wonderful toy for imaginative play :)

I was doing some Christmas shopping for my little niece and i came across these little guys for her.I think they are adorable and very, very cute! they look little fuzzy and and something a kid could fall in love with! i would highly recommend them to any kid for Christmas or Birthday gift! you wont be disappointed!
