Toy photographer & miniature enthusiast here! This is my favorite set of them all!Mar 29, 2012

I'm a 26 year old toy photographer.
I've been shooting photographs of scale miniatures for roughly 4 years, and this was a dream come true.
My 5 year old niece came by her love of dollshouses after seeing some of my photos and now she adores Calico Critter toys!
There is so much going on in this set!
And all Calico Critter toys are just as detailed, too.
You can fully customise a lot of these sets with stickers, too! The toys take great to paint, if you and your kids want to customize the color scheme of a set, it's very easily done.
I furnished my Calico Critter house with only 4 sets of toys... a kitchen, a living room, and a girls' room. Of course, I immediately purchased more sets for my niece and I.
I love that all the sets have toys that can easily be used in other parts of the house....I have 2 kitchens now, and I use some of the food from one kitchen in the other kitchen, for example.
My niece and I now have an entire bookshelf of toy books, a change of quilts for our beds, a fully-stocked pantry of food and canned goods, a full set of plates, a bathroom, and a bedroom for a boy and girl that I wish I had as a kid!! With ALL the bells and whistles!
I cannot recommend these toys enough!!
My niece told me even, that when she gets older, she's going to have a dolly museum. I love that I have passed this on to her!
I myself can set up a photoshoot for hours and hours...Calico Critters opened up a whole realm of possibilities.

And EXACTLY what a miniature-scale enthusiast has been wanting in his collection for years!

I don't know what to tell about the product because until you see it you wouldn't believe anything.
It is the best quality doll set ever met. Great detail and fascinating fun for all age.

This is a great set - eliminates the need for a dining room set. It has a stove, sink with cabinets, and it also has a cupboard and table with two chairs that work as a dining set. My daughter (3 yrs) loves all of the pieces and is constantly playing with her bear family cooking in the kitchen. The extra accessories are super small and will be fun for her when she gets a little older.

The Calico Critters are extremely well made. The dolls are beyond cute (and they have adjustable arms, legs, and heads so they can be posed in multiple ways). The clothes are finely crafted as are the accessories (furniture,appliances, etc.). The only complaint I have is that many of the items (pots, dishes, carrots (!), spoons, etc.) are so tiny that they are difficult to handle and easy to lose.
