This is a great little set to go with the Critters. Very well made, detailed and cute. You get complete bedding for the two beds, which can be used together or separately. You also get posters and school supplies to go with the dresser. We used some handi-tack to stick the posters on the wall of our dollhouse. Really fun! You should know that you do, indeed, get some very small parts with this set, (contrary to the other review). There are, for example, pencils that are extremely tiny - perhaps less than half an inch. If you have very small kids you may want to hold back the tiniest parts.
Love Calico Critters and can't recommend them enough!

These little bunk beds are really cute. They can be stacked or put side by side. They come with a tiny ladder, two little mattresses, two pillows, and two blankets. They're made out of plastic, but are really nice looking.
My two and a half year old loves putting her rabbits to bed in them (they're just long enough for the bunnies' ears). There aren't any tiny parts with this set, so it's safe for younger ones (or children who have very young siblings).
I highly recommend Calico Critters products. They seem to be fairly durable considering how tiny they are. And my daughter (and me too!) loves to play with them.

The toy is very cute but the parts are too small. It's difficult not to lose
them. It was a bday gift for my 5 yr old but I have to hide it or my 3yr old
might misplace them. Luckily, the girls never put stuff in their mouths or
that would be a big concern.

My daughter is 9 who is turning 10 soon. I thought it is too immature at her age to play the Critters, but she loves to play with them. I think generally kids love these tiny pieces that looks so real. My son who is 4 sometimes joins in to play. He loves Legos, too, but I think it is the same reason, something about those little pieces!
Originally, my daughter asked for the regular brown bunk bed set that comes with just blankets and pillows. When I came here on Amazon, I found this white bed set and I was not sure if I should spend $10 more to get all the extra stuff with the beds, but I am glad I did. They are so cute! Comes with little stuffed animals (one squirrel and one teddy bear) to sleep with for the critters. My kids are thrilled to open the box.

Very enjoyable set. The only problem we have found is that it is too large(that is too many pieces) to fit in Cozy Cabin. The other houses may hold ithis set better.
If your child does not have a Calico Critters or other suitable house, the set may be played with on a table or floor. I don't recommend that they play with it on carpet. It is too hard to keep track of the smaller pieces.
