3No pulling upJun 30, 2010
My 10-month old is constantly wanting us to help him walk by holding on to our fingers... for like three months now. He's started cruising more in the last couple of weeks. We are looking for something that he can pull up on and help him walk that is not us - my husband picked this walker up, hoping it would keep him occupied, but the first thing he did was reach up to the bar and pull it down to him, tipping the front of the walker up. He immediately knew it was not something that would support him, and hasn't used it yet.

5Great product, great service.May 17, 2010
This has been our 9-month old's favorite toy for months - really the only one that has kept her attention for any length of time. We also are big fans of Plan Toys overall: Our dog "played with" one of the blocks and the company's customer service sent us a replacement through an email request, no questions asked. Very nice. Just note that the grippy rubber inserts on the wheels can leave marks on wood floors.

5a walker that encourages independenceApr 07, 2010
Our little explorer loves this. We have a 'baby jail' where he first learned to pull up, stand, then walk. This gives him the confidence to walk over greater distances with a little help and without falling over (as he does often in the 48 sq ft baby jail). He does get distracted by the blocks, wanting to play with them, but that's also nice as it's like hanging a carrot out in front of a horse. When he's all done walking, his reward are the blocks! :D

5Perfect toy for my little boyMar 15, 2010
Bought this just before my son was 8 months. He started crawling, and loved to "walk" around holding on to our fingers, so I quickly assembled the walker (super easy, just 2 screws to put in place to attach handle). He soon started pulling up, and loved (still loves) this walker. Occasionally he tried to get to it from the front and it falls over, but he is learning to only pull up using the back handle. My boy is not too heavy, so he doesn't have any problems with it being too light and falling over, although babies who are just learning to pull up may need a parent to hold down the front so it doesn't topple over. My son learned quickly, and now rarely has it fall over. I love that you can adjust the tension on the wheels so it doesn't fly across the room. I would certainly recommend this to a friend, and would buy it again in a heartbeat. It is very sturdy construction, and all the wooden block to play with are just a great added bonus in my mind....as my son hasn't even really been interested in them yet.

3Limited use as a walkerFeb 09, 2010
I bought this toy because our little girl was walking only with assistance, and my back felt ready to break. However, since the wheels on this toy do not turn, she would get very frustated walking with it. It only goes straight. She is finally able to turn the toy now, but at this point she can also walk unassisted, so it is not very useful. However, she loves sitting on the tray, holding onto the upright bars, and getting pushed around in it. She also does enjoy loading and unloading her toys from the tray. So it is reasonably fun for her, just not a good walker at all.
