Bubber is a huge disappointmentJan 02, 2010
By Ferrari Quest This stuff is sort of like play doh, but infinitely less satisfying. Molding into anything more detailed than a round blob results in fragmentation. The little pieces fall apart into powder which is nuisance to clean up. My kid loves play doh but Blubber was a bust.

Hours of Great FunDec 12, 2010
By Heather Fussell The kids love this stuff. Heck, I love this stuff.
It is like a cross between cotton candy and brown sugar and has provided playtime for my children and their friends for HOURS at a time. We cover the table with a plastic mat, get out all the kitchen utensils and cookie cutters, and have a blast! Try the cheese graters on it, it's amazing! We even molded a turkey and carved it.
One reviewer had a problem with how messy it is. Really, it is much less messy than other doughs or sands. Much less. It's nowhere near the mess that Delta Sand is - that stuff was a nightmare to clean up, it got everywhere at the slightest provocation! The mess you will end up cleaning after playing with Bubber is minimal. It is easily brushed or rinsed off any utensil. We have fabric chairs it occasionally gets ground into them, but a pass over with the vacuum cleans it up no problem and with almost no effort.
Perhaps the mess some people experience is from when it dries out a bit. Though it never fully dries out, it can become a bit crumbly when exposed to air. Just work it around a bit and it becomes sticky/fluffy again. Sometimes you just have to be willing to clean up a little mess and let the fun happen.
It is on the spendy side. We went ahead and bought the refill bag. It was around $30 for five times the amount you get in the bucket. We filled a Tupperware shoebox with most of it and gave some away with birthday presents. As much as we play with the stuff, that was the way to go.

Lots of fun with Bubber!Dec 12, 2010
By Mom2Three I have three children, ages 7, 5, and 3. My 7-year-old has autism and my 3-year-old is mildly "on the spectrum." So we've got kids of various ages, abilities, and interests. We got this bucket of green bubber about two months ago and it has been in almost daily use around the house (we also have play doh and moon sand, but they usually request Bubber). This is a great sensory activity, and everyone has fun with it. Even the kids' therapy aids enjoy playing with it! It molds well, you can carve it, it doesn't dry out, is easy to wipe or vacuum up, and the kids like to make all kinds of things with it. We are just about out of our green bucket...although it doesn't dry out, eventually with my little ones it ends up under the table or something and gets tossed or vacuumed. Two months of fun for $12 isn't bad.

great fun!!!Nov 04, 2009
By M. Frick The Bubber is so lightweight, soft, and not gritty. I actually enjoyed just squishing it in my own hands, and found myself stopping to play with the kids each time I walked by. my Did I mention that my kids sat for hours and played with this stuff? My daughter said that she likes the soft feel when she rubs it on her hands. She has spent the most time playing with the Bubber, making homes for her toy horses and using the knife to cut and pretend to cook.

FUN!!!Jul 10, 2011
By Mom2Three My kids LOVE bubber...it is so strange to play with and a lot of fun. It reminds me of ground up erasers. Yes, it is messy...but the fun factor is worth it. And it vacuums up, no problem. We just use it at the table and I plan to vacuum afterwards. I also factor in that it is not going to last forever since a good portion of it goes into the vacuum/trash each time we play with it.
