Our 7 year old daughter enjoys playing with this set. There's no educational value. Great for the imagination. The toys are very durable & she loves to play with all the Breyers farm & horse sets.

This toy was purchased for my grandson who is 5 yrs old. He started playing with it immediately and he has all kinds of video games, etc but prefers to play with this set. He loves to use his imagination with this set.

My grandson is in love with farm animals and he enjoyed this set very much for his birthday. I would only caution that a few of the smallest animals may be a danger to young children, but Breyers does warn about that and recommends it for 3 years and older. My grandson is two, so we took the small pieces out for now and he LOVES this and several of the companion sets.
