I got this tack set for the value (saddle, saddle pad, bridle, bell boots, polo wraps, splint boots and a little riding crop). It is a complete tack set, the only thing it doesn't come with is the horse. The tack itself looks to be pretty high quality. The saddle is pliable but not flimsy. The bridle takes some time to figure out (took me close to 15 minutes, lol!), but it is not flimsy. The splint boots and bell boots look to be durable. I would say that this tack should be given to an older child, as it looks like it could break if you're too rough with it.
The bridle is fully adjustable, as is the saddle and splint boots. The reins of the bridle will be a little crumpled from being in the box, but the wrinkles do come out of it eventually.
All in all, a great tack set for the price, with nice colors. Should be given to older children/teens, as it probably will break if you're too rough with it.

My daughter got this tack set for Christmas and she loves it! The bridle is a little flimsy but not so much that I'm concerned about it breaking. The rest of the tack is very nice and durable. I would recommend this set for any little horse lover. Good value as well.

My daughter, who rides English, really wanted a tack set to go with the Classic horse she was given for Christmas, so she spent her pocket money on this set. Imagine her disappointment when it arrived today and it didn't fit the horse. The Classic horse is 1:12. The Traditional horse is 1:9, and that is the size this set is meant for. I can't really comment on the play value of the set, as she can't use it. The Amazon description doesn't give that important detail, and we didn't think to check on the Breyer website. The colors are a little garish.

Amazing set but the splint boots are a tad breakable. I find the stirrups a bit to long to use for most breyer riders, and you need to be careful with the velcrow on the bell boots. Overall its fun and realistic though, looks good on the horses.
