There could have been more experiments. I also think that everything you need for the experiments, should have come with the test tubes. Unfortunately, only about half of the needed ingredients were provided. I don't think this is the best science kit there is, but I'm not entirely upset. I recommend this product, only to die-hard lovers of science.

I have purchased from this company in the past and thought it was fun and helpful for my Grand daughters. However, Test Tube Adventure seemed to repeat other experiments, one or two that I had not tried before were pretty much flops and the test tube holder was made very cheap and kept falling over. Big disappointment and I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I was so upset by the quality of this product that I just had to write. First of all, two of the key items that are required to perform these experiments, both of which are supposed to be included, were not included in my set. I received a new, sealed set, so I'm not sure why this happened. In addition, two of the experiments we completed did not work. The only thing we have yet to try are the non-popping bubbles (which I bought separately a month ago for $1.99 in the toy store). I literally took the entire kit and threw it in the garbage. And I have two very unhappy kids on my hands. Do not buy this product under any circumstances!Lab in a Bag Glow Chemistry

As far as "chemistry sets" go, this one is halfway decent. Some of the experiments could be improved. The polymer snake in particular forms polymer drops instead of a long snake. As with many toys, the instructions that are often written by people without English as a native language lack effective detail. Maybe if one would use the pipet to add the magic solution and introduced it quickly and below the surface an actual "snake would form. Let's be honest, after the initial wow! cool! upon opening the gift, a fair amount of the glimmer is gone.

Great toy! My six-year-old son loves it! And the tubes the creations come in are lots of fun for him to create his own "experiments" with soap and other liquids around the house once the lab kit experiments are used.
The experiments don't take long so they're great for impatient kids (and adults) who want to see results fast.
They're easy enough to follow that set up is quick and easy. But they definitely need adult supervision/help with instructions.
The kit I picked came with Touchable Bubbles, Disappearing Ink, Miles of Worms (made of polymer) and Bouncy Ball. We especially loved the ball and the worms. Can't wait to try another kit.
