I don't have time to write reviews these days with a preschooler at home and a 3 month old baby, but I hated this bouncy seat so much I felt I had to write one. My first inclination that this was a poorly made seat was that the model in the store was broken. Unfortunately I overlooked that red flag because I thought Baby Einstein was such a trusted brand that it must be a fluke, and the model must have been poorly handled by customers or employees. Apparently that was not the case, as 2.5 months into using it, the toy bar doesn't fit properly into the holes anymore, and pieces of it have broken off, to the point where it is completely unusable. That was the problem with the store model as well. I always disliked the fact that the toy bar came off so easily and never was securely fastened into the sides...that was not even an option on this seat, which I think is a terrible idea. I also disliked the fact that the music is so twangy and off-key that I never wanted to turn it on because it was so off-putting and hard to listen to. But all that could be overlooked if the product wasn't of such poor quality. I love bouncy seats and my oldest son used the Ocean Wonders seat by Fisher Price and it was awesome...and lasted until he outgrew it. One thing I did like about this seat was that the cover was easy to wash. But seriously, that is the only good thing I have to say about it. Look elsewhere when buying your baby a bouncer.

I registered for a different bouncer chair but received this one instead. My son would NOT spend more than 5-10 minutes in it and I ended up buying a different chair. I thought it was that he didnt like chairs at all but I was at a friends house and she had the bright starts comfort and cradle bouncer that I tried- which he LOVES!!!! It is a bit more but it was worth every penny! He will now spend up tp half an hour in his new chair.
Pros- the vibrating mode works well/ my son really likes the lion toy/ is light weight
Cons- too intense an incline (esp for small babies)- even at 3 months my lil guy would tip to the side/ the toy bar SUCKS/ the music is awful (really tinny and twangy)/ no padding at all/ does not bounce unless you do it for the chair (which negates the purpose of a BOUNCY chair!)/ doesnt have grip feet so it slides easy
bottom line- you pay for what you get when it comes to bouncy chairs. if you want something worthwhile- buy the Bright Starts Comfort and Cradle Bouncer!

I purchased this bouncer for my baby nephew and he loves his seat. He's fussy and once he's seated he is so quiet. He's so cute because he stretches his legs and toes out when the chair vibrates. His Mother loves it!
