cute cup but no flow!Jan 13, 2010
By Curtis keetch I was excited to get this cup for my girls(18 m) but they can't suck out of it. I even tried it and could only get a small trickle. The spout has a very small no-spill vent and valve, perhaps the problem is that it is too small to get anything out.
Decent sippy cupsDec 14, 2011
By laceyvl1 Not completely leak-proof in my opinion but not terrible either. My favorite sippy cups are the playtex ones because those tend to be the most leak-proof in my opinon. But I do like that these don't have any extra pieces or valves. They are easier to clean because of that. I don't let my kids take these away from the table because I've had a problem with liquid leaking out where the cup and cover screw on.
best sippy cups everAug 07, 2011
By homeschoolmom I have three kids. My youngest - and last - uses sippy cups now. I think these are the best sippy cups ever. I just wish that I knew about them for my fist two kids!!!! They never leak. They are the easiest to clean by far.
Love it, getting rid of the other chewed up onesJul 02, 2010
By R. Picken My kids finally can't bites hole, crack lids with the spout on these. I'm dumping all the disposable ones and stocking up on these...they are 1.5 and 3 yrs, sometimes drink from cups, but need a sippy cup that doesn't leak on the sheets and other furniture around the house. These are best of ALL the cups I have tried, and that would be about 8-10 brands.
Read the small print - It's really a great cup!Feb 04, 2010

If you read the tiny print on the package, you'll see they have a solution to the tight valve problem: "For best valve performance, place in dishwasher before initial use." I think the very hot water must soften the valve?
I love these cups, and am so glad to be free from the never-ending search through cupboards and dish drainers for those silly little Playtex valves that you have to install into the Playtex lids before using. I LOVE the simplicity of these cups. I have twin toddlers, so every little time-saver/frustration-saver makes a big difference. FYI, the designs on the solid-colored First Years/Learning Curve cups seem to wear off in the dishwasher, whereas the First Years/Learning Curve cups with clear plastic on the outside hold their designs perfectly. An important detail for toddlers who demand that the characters on their cups haven't washed away.
