 Very cute beading setMar 01, 2009

This is a cute beading set. It comes with a few laces to string beads on, but far too few for my taste. It comes with beads in yellow, purple, pink, lavender and blue, in different shapes and patterns. Some are plain and some are decorated. There are also some special beads included that are shaped and colored like rabbits, sheep, and flowers. The holes are large enough for my fine-motor-challenged 6 year old to string easily.
Needless to say, this set is geared for girls.

The bead set had plenty of pieces; they definately didn't skimp on the number of beads. There was one bead that was splitting, but the rest were in good shape (the set was new.) My daughter loves the set!

This is one of my 5 year old daughter's favorite gifts. She loves to make necklaces and pass them out for people to wear. Then, it is easy to take them apart and make them again another time. Melissa&Doug products are always well made, cute, and I never worry about what chemicals might be in them!

I gave this bead set to the four year old daughter of a friend. So far she loves it and is able to make multiple necklaces at a time. It seems very durable (but only time will tell) and like a good value.

purchased as a Christmas gift for my niece. She loved it. Made her feel like a big girl to have real beads as opposed to snap beads.
