It's just not Legos.Jan 06, 2009
By D. Teague Let me begin by saying that I did not buy this toy from Amazon, but it really doesn't matter about that.
On the surface, this looks like a really nice building toy, some combination of classic k'nex and building blocks similar to the lego style. However, my kids soon discovered that the blocks just do not stay together. It's basically impossible to build the bulldozer with the rubber belts around the wheels because the belt just keeps pulling off the axles from the main body of the machine. They just won't stay on. The other blocks do not stay together either. The traditional k'nex pieces of the rods and the spokes work great, but for the blocks, stick with Legos.

Skip K'nex, buy Lego's instead.Sep 09, 2009

Lego is definitely more expensive, but K'nex is just another word for frustration. The things fall apart. Wheels fall off. There aren't enough pieces to reinforce the models. The kids get frustrated. They are really a cheap Lego knock off in my opinion.

Fun kit for little buildersJan 06, 2009
By Laura Stcyr My son was very happy with this kit. He is a young builder (only 5 1/2) and he needed some help, but he enjoyed making his own inventions as much as the kit itself.
Great toy!Dec 07, 2011
By chickinboots Gave this toy as a gift to a 6 yr old boy. He loved it! We're looking forward to getting more from this collection for him in the future.
