I love these little Calico Critter Families. I bought this family for my niece who shrieked with delight when she received.I have bought in the past for my own daughter.Many other families are available. The imagination and play they encourage is great. I would recommend ages 4 to 10. Its nice to have toys that are not dolls and not so commercial. I am sure if anyone buys you would not be disappointed.Highly recommended, try stopping at one!

The Calico Critters Buttercup Cat Family is adorable! Oh my...even I like to play with them! They are very durable..very sweet little faces..and great for making the imagination grow! Our grandaughter loves to have "kitten conversations" among the Buttercup Cat Family! How sweet and how neat to enjoy hearing the converations which must go on at home, too, and relayed to the cat family! This toy really encourages quiet play and teaches the child so many neat little lessons, via the cats! I highly recommend this toy.

My three year old granddaughter likes small animals. Calico Critters are small and adorable.
I sent her the mouse family, the cat family and the storage box, which she uses as
a portable house for the critters and quite a few other small animals. She is able
carry her toy families wherever she wishes to go. I reccomend this toy and I plan to purchase more soon

I loved these as a child. I just bought them for my daughter. She is still a little to young to play with them so I am saving them for when she is older. I am so happy I found them on Amazon. The price is great, and you can't beat no tax and free 2 day shipping with Amazon Prime. I plan to buy many more sets for her.

This set quite frankly isn't worth the money. The "critters" are rather poorly constructed. My granddaughter has an amazing imagination and likes playing with this type of toy, but she really wasn't interested in play with this at all.
