not just for clothes, great for hats and puppets!Sep 09, 2008
I bought this to go with the rest of the Guidecraft Safari line. (We also bought the coordinating table & chairs set, bookrack, step stool, toy chest, rocking chair, and director's chair.) It is the perfect height for 2-6 year olds. More of an accessory piece, we use it to display costume hats and puppets. The animals are very detailed and are hand carved and not just painted on. The tree is very easy to assemble - just screw together in about 3 minutes. The top scene just sits on a peg and is only painted on one side. We would have liked both sides painted. The entire tree is very light; so little ones may want to carry it around. Because of this we will probably glue the top in place to keep it from falling on noggins. The middle piece for our set arrived with a slight crack, but one phone call to Guidecraft (to a real person) and we were sent a replacement piece within a week at no charge for the part or even for shipping. We love our new Safari room!
