best set so farJun 27, 2010

The Play-doh breakfast set is the most popular set we own. The food looks close to real and since my 3 children (ages 4-10) love breakfast, they have fun making real looking meals. This set makes a sunny side up egg, with bacon, Canadian ham, toast, a cheese omelet with mushrooms. It makes big brown waffles and many other little items like a block of cheese, pad of butter, and small fruits. We take digital pictures of the best results, so the playdoh can be recycled quickly without tears.

We haven't opened this set yet (Christmas gift), but it looks to be very cute. My kids love playing with the Play Doh ice cream set, and they love helping me make breakfast...so this set should be a sure-fire winner. Here's a tip, though - check out Kmart before purchasing on Amazon - I found it in-store for less than half the price listed above, and that wasn't even on sale.

fun!Jan 14, 2011
By collyanna my 2.5 year old son and i love cooking together and one of our favorite breakfasts to make is waffles! i don't let him near the waffle iron, though, it gets so hot so the play-do version is perfect. this was a christmas gift this year and almost a month later, it has been used several times. the only downside is that, while getting creative and making realistic play-do foods, we mixed the colors together (like for the fried egg; the yellow and white) and now we have a lot of swirled play-do. i guess that's probably bound to happen, toy or not though...
we have a lot of fun together with this toy, which was my original goal. more fun to come, too!
We're happy with it.Feb 09, 2012

Many of the play-doh sets are flimsy. But not this one. We have really enjoyed it. We have a play-doh "bin" and this has been a great addition. Also, a hit when other kids come over to play.
