Very DurableJun 05, 2008
By Judge J Drhedd Very durable product, truly fit for toddlers, unlike the other plastic thomas toy sets (batteries needed as well).
If you buy several sets, you'll see that your kid will invent 'train stories,' which is good for creativity and cognition (vis a vis the thomat dvd's).
This product is not distributed well in other countries so when there's someon visiting the US, it's good to place multiple orders of all the characters at one time.

Not Quite RightAug 28, 2008
By Robert Oswald In general, I have been satisfied with the Take Along Thomas line. My almost 3 year old son loves them. I'm not as pleased with Emily. I know this is nit-picky, but her proportions are not right. Her coal tender is as big as she is and she is the same size as Thomas. My son has noticed that his toy Emily doesn't look like Emily on the show, and he gets mad.

Take Along Thomas's EmilyOct 19, 2009
By D. Owens This Thomas item is just the right size to fit a child's pocket. The item is durable, colorful and has a good magnet for linking several cars together. My "granddaughter" loves them.

Price jacked up for Christmas ...Nov 27, 2010
By Jeff Wilder
""Sooo meaty!""
When my friend put this in her son's Wishlist, it was going for $8. When I bought it, unsuspecting (because I'm old), it was listed at $19. This isn't a collectible ... this is just a toy. The seller basically jacked the price over 100%. Look elsewhere and you can find it for $9.

sent wrong oneFeb 10, 2010
By Kevin Burke I thought I was ordering a wooden toy and was sent a die-cast instead your web site is misleading I was in the wooden toy section and thought I was only looking at wooden toys. The die-cast engines dont fit on the wooden tracks! When my order came half of the toys were wooden and the other half die-cast. My son already saw them so sending them back is'nt really an option. The same thing happened when my mother sent us a gift from you.
