Great toy for kids!Dec 30, 2007
By Debra Jeane Huntoon I purchased this for my 9 yo step daughter for Christmas. She loves it! She spent all Christmas Day making out finger prints, spying on her older brother, and even lifting fingerprints off of glasses. (We did have to have a brief discussion about how her brother did not have to give a sample of his finger prints if he didn't want to!) Great gift!

Could be betterFeb 20, 2010
By Mayski Kot The overall idea is good, but implementation is poor. The fingerprint powder is chunky, the fingerprint brush too rough, and the sticky tape circles are difficult to lift off from the block. The fingerprints come out poor compared to what one can get using simple graphite powder from Home Depot and a piece of regular scotch tape. After the fingerprinting failure kills the fun, the rest of the kit gives a somewhat dull feeling.

By LISA MY KID LOVED GETTING THIS TOY. BUT IT COULD OF BEEN BETTER. SHE BORED OF IT AFTER AWHILE. FINGERPRINTING WAS TOUGH TO DO.

9 yo DetectiveJan 07, 2009
By Kip J. Kiener My nine year old had started her own mystery club with her friends and this will not only make her the coolest jr. detective but, with the kit the kids can learn about finger printing and problem solving. Although I think her favorite is the rear view glasses.
