A huge hit, but maybe short-livedOct 26, 2006
By Research Mom My three-year-old son received this toy as a birthday gift and it was the hit of his party. He and his friends took turns running the cars down the track and laughed their heads off for a good thirty minutes. On the down side, it hasn't really held his attention for long since then. He still occasionally runs the cars on his own, but mostly plays with it when friends come over. It's good for teaching kids to take turns, well constructed and very cute. Ultimately though, toys that allow for more variation by changing the tracks to create a new set up get more play time. That said, it's very attractive, so I don't mind in the least if it just sits on the shelf most of the time.

Fun but not too interesting for longJan 10, 2007
By M's Mommy My mother-in-law has a similar but even more fun version of this toy that she bought in Amish country. My two-year-old son loved it at her house, so I bought this hoping he would enjoy it just as much. But the cars don't do enough switch-backs for him and he quickly loses interest in it. He plays with it for just a few minutes each day, but not for more than that, I'm sad to say.

Great toy, not made wellFeb 13, 2009

My children loved this toy a lot--they had lots of fun with it and two and three-year-olds especially love watching the cars go down. Younger children many need assistance as you have to line the wheels up with the track for it to work. But it was not very well made! Both the stand itself and several of the cars broke even though I supervised my children while they played with it and they did not abuse it. Other manufacturers make similar toys--I plan to replace this with another brand.

DisappointedFeb 12, 2011
By Momofthree The cars for some reason to not stay on the track. They launch off the end of each ramp unless your hand is there to block it. I am very dissatisfied.

My 19 month old son loved this at first. He was fascinated with letting the cars go and watching them. The novelty wore off within a few weeks, but he still plays with it one in a while. It's not something that will keep their attention for more than a few minutes, because it only does one thing: the cars ride down the tracks. It's a nice, well made toy and I am glad I got it for my son, I've also had other parents ask me where I got it.
