I bought this today and my 2.8 year old enjoyed it. We played from 5:30 until 8pm when she got sleepy. I love the simplicity. However, I wish there were more projects. It came with 7 and she has completed 5 of the 7. What I did do was stick the projects to construction paper so there was a nice backdrop. I was very pleasantly surpised with the packaging as I thought I would have a lot of cutting and sorting to do .... every project has its own bag and the pieces are just to be pushed out of the template so there is no need for cuttin. The pieces are very colourful and stickers are also included to enhace the project. Loads of fun ...
I will try the others craft projects in this line.

I have found that all of the Alex Little Hands art projects I have purchased are excellent. The kits are age appropriate and are great fun. My grandchildren (ages 3 and 2) are very proud of the projects they make.

Awesome toy for age 3+. Good for gifts. It comes nicely decorated, you just glue the pieces together. My daughter liked putting it together. She felt like she did the whole thing despite it already being colored and designed.

My 3 year old was very excited to do this one afternoon, as was I. But after trying to glue the pieces together she (we) soon lost interest. As another reviewer said, you have to be very patient for the glue to dry enough for it to hold before moving onto the next step. Would be ideal if there were strong adhesive tape or something that could be more immediate. Though we didn't finish the projects my daughter had a blast playing with the popsicle sticks...

My 5 year old daughter loves this craft. I, however, find it annoying. It's a little too hands on for mom. Really I ended up doing the whole craft for her. I suppose it's more appropriate for older children because you need to wait for the glue to dry otherwise the pieces just fall apart...ie it needs to be crafted in stages.
