Paper too bigDec 28, 2009
By R. Shepherd

The paper that came with the spinner was fine, but I had to use that paper as a guide to trim a good 1/4" off the sides of this paper because it bowed up and wouldn't allow the spinner to spin. It would be better to just buy card stock. Also, the black cards are GLOSSY and the paint slid RIGHT OFF of it. We had to use the back side (which is white). So long for cool black ones. Again; card stock! And the paint bottles it came with are TINY! Unlike the original paint that came with the spinner, you had to cut the tips off, and no matter how carefully you cut the tip off to the end as much as possible, it was too big and came out too fast.
Save your money; re-use the original spinner bottles, make your own paint, and cut out the paper from cardstock.

A lot of fun for kids (and grown ups too!)Nov 27, 2008
By J. Holbrook I bought the My Art Spinner for my 9 yo son's birthday and bought the refill pack to go with it. I am VERY glad I did because the kids used up all the supplies that came with the Spinner and most of the refill pack within the first few days. They love this toy and it makes some really cool pictures. I have read reviews that says the spinner is hard to clean but I haven't found that the case at all, just wipe it out before the paint dries and it's clean in seconds. Definitely get the refill pack if you're getting the Spinner, you will need it on hand during that first excited burst of use!

Paint for Spin ArtSep 21, 2010

Perfect. I liked these colors better than the ones that came with the original toy. The square waxy papers were an odd shape and didn't fit perfectly though.

Mom of 3Aug 12, 2009
By Zelda Quackenbush Awesome. My husband wanted to buy our girls (6 and 4) electronic toys and games for their birthdays, but I insisted on the back-to-basics. The electronic toys and games that he picked out have been hardly used. Can't say the same about the spin art!!! We bought this for our 6 year old and the girls have played non-stop with it for hours -- and, the best part, there has been no fighting over it/good sharing toy!!!! They can't get enough of it. We used up all of the supplies and the refills that I had bought. They love the glitter that came with it. I didn't bother trying to clean the machine -- too time consuming. This is a must have and will take you right back to your childhood.

Difficult to get paint out of dispensersJan 29, 2009
By Alyson My 6 y/o couldn't squeeze the paint out of these dispensers, so I tried to enlarge the openings by snipping the tips off. However, then the paint came out too fast & the paper got soggy. :(
