short-lived funMay 19, 2010
By Courtney S. Worth This isn't a toy that we play with daily but when it is pulled out of the toy box it is fun and silly; children and adults get a laugh from using these monster feet. I can see how they could be used to promote coordination and gross motor skills and/or for imaginary play. They are made well and the colors are very bright.

My two year old is having a great time developing the coordination, skill, and concentration this toy requires! It's great watching her clomp around the house.

Love themAug 29, 2011
By Peppered Momma These monster feet are great, my daughter is three and at first was intimidated by them. But then my husband and I began playing with them and she joined it. We let her watch How to Train your Dragon and told her they were dragon feet because she is scared of monsters. She also loves the Gruffalo,so when we read it she pretends that they are his feet and walks around reinacting the story. So she was able to pretend that the coloring of purple was the purple prickles on the gruffalo. Great toy, perfect for imaginative play, and physical exercise.
Great birthday gift idea!Apr 29, 2012

I was always scratching my head when I have the task of buying a present for yet another little boy. For most of the year, I was buying Tonka trucks for every boy birthday party gift. I mean, what else is there? My daughter got these for Christmas and they have been such a hit. Now I order these for every child's party I go to. Many kids might have those dangerous, walking cup toys...but I have yet to come across a kid who already owns these. Probably due to the fact that Alex Toys are not commonly sold in big box stores. I highly recommend these; tons of fun for preschool age!
Gross motor skillDec 13, 2010

These are not only silly and fun, but they help with gross motor skills. I have a child who struggles with coordination, and these make "practice" fun. Also, these monster feet are not elevated, which makes them safer for our application. Most definately would recommend as a mom who has spent a lot of time in PT with a toddler.
