I was searching for a watch for my 8-yr old daughter and couldn't find anything that was (1) cute, (2) durable, (3) the right size, (4) affordable, (5) attractive for a child. I found the Alex Flower Hour Watch with the changeable wristbands and it had excellent ratings. I would give it a 10 if I could get it that high. My daughter loves it, and wears it consistently. She doesn't have a problem reading the watch face either. I would HIGHLY recommend this watch to anyone with a daughter who needs a watch!

Gave this toy to a 7 yr old girl. she loves switching the bands to match her outfit. I don't think any watches in this price range are extremely durable for a young child, that is just obvious. I bet she will get a year or so use out of the watch and bands, and that is fine for a $25 birthday gift. Given how much she has already worn them, i would say this gift choice was a success! she LOVES them...

My 7yr old received this for her birthday and she loves it. It's a pretty big watch face so I don't recommend it for any child younger as it would probably look too big. It's the standard clock, not digital, which works great for 1st graders who are learning how to tell time. She likes that she can change the bands whenever she wants. The bands are made out of that heavy, pliable plastic - similar to those jelly sandals you can buy. The bands appear to be pretty durable, but I think the colors will start to wear on them the more she wears it. Overall, it was a great gift and one she can use for several years.

I bought this watch for my 8 year old. It fits perfectly, works well (so far), and she absolutely loves it! She wanted to wear all the bands at one time!
