Convenient, portable, fun - woo hoo!Oct 27, 2008

This brightly colored, easily wiped "desk" holds all your child's art supplies - such as pens, crayons, and paper in one convenient place.
What we love: 1) colors (bright) 2) handles (goes easily from car to restaurant) 3) pockets (stores easily and neatly) 4) wipes easily (remember those biter books your toddler had as a baby?)
What we don't love: 1) not too sturdy (e.g. you can't eat on it) which may give some problems to kids in certain large car seats (where it won't rest on their laps but on the sides instead) 2) price - it's fluctuating, but is seems like it should be priced around twelve macaroons for the basic quality (may not be durable for years) 3) gets bulky if kids pack it unevenly
Overall - I would easily recommend this. Additionally, it makes a great present packaged with some basics. We love using it with these: Go Paint Basics Set, Twistables Erasable Colored Pencils, 12 Assorted Colors/pack, Rainbow Wikki Set 24pc in 6 Colors!, and of course Color Wonder Deluxe Set.

Alex Desk To GoJan 15, 2007
By M. Cranford I was very pleased with this product and my 5-year grandson loves it! It's colorful, lightweight, easily cleaned and easy for him to carry wherever he goes. He uses it all the time, whether at home or on-the-go. The side pockets are convenient and great for storing his art supplies, small books, or toys. It's helpful in providing a way to keep him occupied during long road trips. Great product that I recommend for any aspiring young artist between the ages of 3 to 6 years.

Alex Desk to GoJan 14, 2008
By R. Warner Kids love the pockets to keep their pens in. Desk top could be a little sturdier, can see it giving in before long. Kids enjoy using it in the car to draw on though and again, the pockets are great to keep their stuff from getting lost.

Great little travel deskMay 20, 2008

We bought this little travel desk for our toddler to use on road trips. We just used it this past weekend on a 9+ hour road trip. He used it for several hours without any problems. I actually printed out individual coloring pages and activity sheets rather than using a pad of paper. The surface was hard enough for him to color but not too uncomfortable. It also has 2 zippered pockets on the sides to store spare crayons/pencils. He wasn't able to unzipper the pockets so that was the only drawback for a toddler. Older kids shouldn't have a problem with the zippers.

HANDY BUT FLIMSYDec 09, 2010
By JC I recently purchased this and was surprised after reading all the great reviews how flimsy and cheap looking this is. It is a handy little desk and lightweight which is great, but it is not sturdy at all. I'm also disappointed that the desk top is simply cardboard covered with a nylon material. This makes the writing area textured, so you will not want a single sheet of paper on the desk...think of writing on paper laying over a textured table cloth. That can be frustrating, especially when using a pencil, or for a child learning to write letters. A wide-tipped marker would do best.
